Trogir Riviera belongs to the most indented parts of the coast; small inlets with smaller and larger pebbles that are separated by rocky capes - great for suntanning and diving. We recommend the Ciovo peninsula to those looking for beautiful sandy beaches. In Gornji and Donji Okrug and Slatina, there are sandy and pebble beaches, while magnificent sandy beaches can be found in certain larger inlets. You can reach secluded bays and capes on the Ciovo peninsula on foot or by car. These bays and capes are surrounded by pine trees and usually consist of smooth rocks that lead right to the water. Beaches

PANTAN BEACH (Trogir)

This beautiful beach is located 1,5 km East of Trogir Center, on the estuary of Pantan River. It is 500m long gravel and sand beach with pine-tree wood on eastern side for a nice shade. To reach this beach, take bus No.37 from Trogir bus station to Split and exit on second station, walk for 200m and turn right where you will see the sign.

There is a popular Beach Bar "Mosquito" placed directly on the seashore with cold drinks, ice-creams and light food. The area around is protected natural resort with wonderful Pantan Mills on the north side of the beach.

OKRUG BEACH (Okrug Gornji)

The Okrug Beach is most popular beach on Trogir riviera.It is 5km from Trogir center, easy reachable by road which follows south side of Island of Ciovo, to Okrug Gornji.
Two kilometers long gravel beach is also called "Trogir Copacabana" because of its beauty and popularity. The vast number of beach bars and few restaurants keeps this place alive through the night. KAVA BEACH (Slatine)

The beach is placed on the far east corner of the Ciovo Island, in the beautiful inlet, near the old fishermen village of Slatine. It is 12km away from Trogir center. Kava Beach is one of the real natural beauties because it is not polluted by any buildings, hotels or houses in the area.
To reach it, you must pass through Slatine village and drive for more 4km to the east, with mostly gravel, and sometimes, very rough road.
There are no off-shore facilities, so it is preferable to bring some refreshing juices and sandwiches for longer stay.

MEDENA BEACH (Seget)

Medena Beach lies along the Seget Riviera, micro-location on the south side of Trogir, 4km from Trogir Center. It is very cultivated 3km long gravel beach surrounded by old pine-woods and various sport facilities: Water Sport Center, tennis courts, football & basketball courts, beach volleyball and Water-slide. Medena beach is part of Medena Hotel Resort with 650 rooms and 200 apartments in the area. To reach Medena Beach, take the bus from Trogir Bus Station for Medena Hotel, drive for 4 km to the west from Trogir, or take a walk (30min.) on the wonderful "Lungomare" from Seget village to "Medena".

 
Culture and history

Visit Trogir and feel the lush beauty of stone monuments, the mystique of the streets and vaults, coolness of the sturdy walls and bastions, the harmony of color and form of paintings and carvings.

Trogir was founded by Greek colonists from the Island of Vis in the third century BC. On this antique matrix lies the historical core of Trogir, which is the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic town, in the Adriatic, and in Eastern Europe. Trogir's medieval core, surrounded by walls, is composed of a preserved castle and tower and a series of homes and palaces from Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods.

The grandest building of Trogir is the church of St. Lawrence. The main West portal is the masterpiece of Master Radovan, the most significant work of art in Dalmatia.

Post and telecommunications

Post Offices are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays until 1 p.m.

There are Post Offices in the larger cities which are open until 10 p.m. in the summer.

Postage stamps are sold in Post Offices and at newsstands.

Public telephones can be used only with phone cards, which can be purchased in Post Offices and at newsstands, in hotels and tourist complexes.

- foreign currency is exchanged in banks, exchange offices, post offices and in most tourist agencies, hotels, camps. Eurocheques are exchanged only in banks.

Customs

Customs regulations of the Republic of Croatia are in line with the standards of European Union countries. Foreign currency is freely brought in and taken out of the country; up to a value of 15.000 kn for domestic currency. More expensive professional and technical equipment should be registered at the border.
Dogs and cats, accompanied by their owner, need to have an International certificate from a registered veterinarian stating that at least 15 days and not more than six months have passed since their vaccination against rabies.

Shopping

Traditional handmade objects are the best souvenir, cloth and other ornament made from silver or sea shells. Interesting object of wood and cheramics, handmadecan be found along the coast.
If you go shopping shoes or clothes, shop prizes won't pleasently suprize you. If you aren't interested in design clothes we suggest to search small boutics and local market. Prizes are much better and during season choice is rather big.

Standard credit card - Eurocard/Mastercard, Diners, American Express i Visa are usual way of payment in Croatia. Every store, restaurants, agencies, hotels and other places that offer their services they accept credit cards, and have visibly placed label with logo of credit card you can use. Cash avans on credit cards you can draw in bankmachines. At post office you can draw avans on Eurocard/Mastercard and Diners credit cards. When you cash traveler cheques provision is 2%. Eurocheque and personal cheques of foreign banks can be cashed into kuna in exchange offices or banks.

Seget

Seget is an old fishermen village 3 km West from Trogir, easily reachable from Trogir by road or by foot.

There is wonderful "Lungomare" (waterfront), connecting Seget with Hotel "Medena", 2 km more to the West, often used by natives and tourists for walking and jogging.

The average accommodation in Seget is an apartment in private house, covering one floor of the house, with high standard and friendly landlords. The Seget is also known as "Middle of Adriatic" because of its geographical position exactly in the middle of coastline of the Adriatic Sea.

General Terms and Conditions for Providing Accommodation Services

INTRODUCTION
Sea Gate Travel Agency provides accommodation services in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions, and with the period and details of the confirmed reservation. Sea Gate is not liable for circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control (wars, riots, strikes, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, sanitary disruptions, restrictions by local authorities, death or illness of service provider and the like.)

BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Inquiries and booking of accommodation can be done electronically, by mail or in person at the Sea Gate office in Trogir. When booking, the customer confirms that he is familiar with the General Terms and Conditions, and that he accepts them in their entirety. Thus, everything stated in the General Terms and Conditions becomes legally binding both for the customer and Sea Gate Travel Agency. When booking, the customer is required to give all the information necessary in the booking procedure. When booking, the customer is required to pay an advance, depending on the payment method, while the balance and Sojourn tax must be paid at least 15 days prior to the arrival date or directly to the host upon arrival, depending on the payment method, that the guest was informed about while confirming the reservation.

SOJOURN TAX
According to the Croatian Law on the Sojourn Tax, customers are required to pay the Sojourn Tax when paying for their accommodation. The Sojourn Tax varies from 2,00 to 7,00 KN per person per day for adults. Customers from the age of 12 to 18 have a 50% discount, while children under the age of 12 are exempt from paying. The final amount of the Sojourn Tax is determined by the destination and travel period, and is charged according to the General Terms and Conditions when balance payment is made.

PRICE OF ACCOMMODATION
The price of accommodation includes the basic service as described in the booked accommodation unit. Special services are those not included in the price of accommodation (in accommodation unit description indicated by "services upon agreement" or "additional services" available if arranged in advance); therefore the customer pays for them separately. These services must be requested at the time of booking. The price of accommodation is given in EUR. Sea Gate Travel Agency reserves the right to make changes to the stated prices (in the event that the host changes prices or there are changes in exchange rates). For customers who have paid an advance for their reservation, Sea Gate Travel Agency guarantees the price of accommodation, stated in the calculation according to which the advance was paid. If the changes occur prior to the payment of the advance, Sea Gate Travel Agency is required to inform the customer. If more customers than are stated on the voucher arrive at the accommodation unit, the host has the right to deny the extra customers accommodation or to accommodate all of the customers at extra charge directly made to the host.

CATEGORIZATION AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Accommodation units offered by Sea Gate Travel Agency are described in accordance to the official categorization of the authorized institution, and based on onsite assessment prior to being put in Sea-gate Travel Agency's online offer. Standards for accommodation, food, services, etc. differ from place to place, country to country, and cannot be compared. Information obtained at the point of sale does not oblige Sea-gate Travel Agency in any way more than any information available on the Internet pages www.sea-gate.net, in the Sea Gate Travel Agency catalog or other printed material.

Sea Gate Travel Agency's RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
Sea Gate Travel Agency reserves the right to change or modify a reservation in case of circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control that cannot be predicted, avoided or rectified (See Article 1). Booked accommodation can be substituted only by an accommodation unit of the same or higher category and at the price confirmed during booking, provided that customer is notified ahead of time. Should the substitute accommodation be available only in an accommodation unit of higher category and should the price of the substitute accommodation be higher by 15% or more than the initially booked accommodation, Sea Gate Travel Agency reserves the right to charge the price difference upon consulting the customer. In cases where substitute accommodation for paid accommodation is not available, Sea Gate Travel Agency reserves the right to cancel the reservation upon prior customer notification (at least 7 days before arrival) and guarantees the refund of the complete paid amount. Should an adequate substitute accommodation not be available on the day of arrival, Sea Gate Travel Agency will provide information on available accommodation that is not included in Sea Gate Travel Agency's offer and guarantees the refund of the complete paid amount.

CUSTOMER'S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
Should the customer wish to change or cancel a reservation, this must be done in written form (email, mail, or fax). The following are examples of changes: changes to the number of customers, changes to arrival / departure dates. Changes must be made at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. The first change to the reservation is free of charge, unless it entails further expenses for Sea Gate Travel Agency. For all further changes to the reservation, 15 EUR will be charged per change. Should a change to the reservation not be possible and should the customer cancel for this reason, the conditions for the cancellation of reservation listed below will be enforced. The following are examples of cancellation of reservation: change of accommodation unit, and all changes done within 30 days of the arrival date or during use of the accommodation unit. In case of cancellation of reservation, the date of receipt of the written cancellation is used to calculate cancellation costs as follows: For cancellation up to 15 days before arrival date, 35% of the accommodation price will be charged (the advance will not be returned), For cancellation from 14 - 9 days before arrival date, 50% of the accommodation price will be charged, For cancellation from 8 - 2 days before arrival date, 80% of the accommodation price will be charged, Should the customer cancel 1 day before arrival date, or not come, or cancel during use of the accommodation unit, 100% of the accommodation price will be charged. In circumstances caused by conditions beyond their control, customers must produce a written statement and Sea Gate Travel Agency will charge for real costs only, up to a maximum of 25% of the total value of the reservation. Should the customer not arrive at the booked accommodation unit before midnight on the arrival date, and the customer has not informed Sea Gate Travel Agency or the host, the reservation is considered to be cancelled, and therefore the cancellation costs will be charged as described above. Should the real costs exceed the above stated costs, Sea Gate Travel Agency reserves the right to charge the difference. Should the customer find a replacement for the cancelled reservation, Sea Gate Travel Agency will only charge the real costs caused by the replacement.

Sea Gate Travel Agency's OBLIGATIONS
It is Sea Gate Travel Agency's obligation to take care of provided services, hosts, and customers' interests and rights according to accepted customs and practices in tourism. Sea Gate Travel Agency will carry out all stated obligations in full and as described above, except in circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control (Article 1), when Article 6 is applied.

CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS
The customer is required: to have valid travel documents, to obey customs regulations and currency exchange regulations of the Republic of Croatia, to obey house rules in accommodation units and to have good relations with the host, to produce the confirmation of payment (Voucher received by mail or email) upon arrival, the customer is obligated to check whether a visa is necessary for Croatia or neighboring countries. Should the customer not follow the above listed obligations, the customer is liable for caused damage and must cover the expenses. By confirming the reservation, the customer accepts to pay for all damages caused directly to the host.

LUGGAGE
Sea Gate Travel Agency is not responsible for damaged, destroyed or lost luggage, as well as for the theft of luggage or valuables in the accommodation unit (rental of a safety deposit box is recommended if available). Lost luggage or stolen goods should be reported to the host and the local police department.

COMPLAINTS
Should the services provided not be satisfactory, the customer is entitled to seek reasonable compensation by filing a written complaint. Every customer is entitled to file a complaint if the paid service is not provided. Every customer - reservation holder, files a separate complaint. Complaint procedure: The customer must immediately make a complaint about the inadequate service to the host. The customer is required to cooperate with the Sea Gate Travel Agency representative and the host in order to rectify the problem. Should the customer not accept the offered solution that corresponds to the paid for service on the spot, Sea Gate Travel Agency will not accept subsequent complaint and will not reply to it. Should the problem not be rectified, the customer is required to make a written complaint in two copies with the help of the Sea-gate Travel Agency representative, signed by both of them. One copy goes to the customer. Within 28 days upon return, the customer is required to file a written complaint along with accompanying documentation stating grounds for complaint to Sea Gate Travel Agency. Sea Gate Travel Agency will take into consideration only properly filed complaints received within 28 days. Sea Gate Travel Agency assumes responsibility to make a written decision to the complaint within 14 days upon receipt of the complaint. Should Sea Gate Travel Agency need more time to collect information and verify the complaint with the host, it can prolong the response time by a maximum of 14 days. Sea Gate Travel Agency will take into consideration only those complaints that could not be solved on the spot. Until Sea Gate Travel Agency presents its solution, the customer refrains from mediation by any other party, arbitration by the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies, or from taking the matter to court, and from informing the press. The maximum compensation per complaint can amount to the cost of the part of the service(s) in the complaint. It cannot amount to the total paid to Sea Gate Travel Agency and cannot include services already provided.

COURT JURISDICTION
Should the customer not be satisfied with the solution to the complaint, the matter can be taken to court (Trogir Court jurisdiction).

NOTE: Upon payment of the advance or the total amount, the customer accepts the General Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

How to Pay

Payment in two installments

The reservation of the chosen accommodation unit is done in two parts.
The first part of the whole amount is paid in advance while making the
reservation of the unit, and the second part of the amount the guest pays
on the day of their arrival in our agency or to the owner of the unit.

The amounts of the advance are different depending on the amount of money
the agency has to forward to the owner's account upon the receipt of the first payment.


Reservation payment deadline

In order to confirm the reservation, the guest has to make the reservation payment within
48 hours of the received calculation,and forward the confirmation to the agency
(Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays excluded).
The precise date until which the agency is required to keep the dates applied for under the option
(rent privilege for the guest) is pointed out on every calculation under the heading "due date".
When the guest fills in and sends the reservation application, for the next 48 hours, the chosen dates are withdrawn from the market and the applicant has the reservation privilege.
Thus, no other guest is able to reserve the specified accommodation unit for the specified dates.
If the agency does not receive the payment confirmation within the expected term,
we will consider the guest to have cancelled the reservation they applied for.

For your credit card payment (American Expres/Master/Visa) please provide:
-          Credit card number
-          Expiry date
-          Control number (last three digits on the back of the card or on the signature tape)
-          Amount you want to pay (min 50 % of total payment)
-          Name and the last name of the user of Master/Visa card
-          Address of the user (so I can write down an Invoice)

You can choose the accommodation unit that will best satisfy your desires and needs in different ways. After making the final desicion, you must fill in the reservation form for the unit you want to book. It is necessary that you fill in all the required fields to make the processing of your request possible. When the filled in reservation form is sent, an automatically generated calculation including all the items, respective costs and the amount to be paid for the reservation of the chosen accommodation unit will show up on your screen. At the end of the calculation you will have two options offered, the cancellation of the reservation or its confirmation.

If you decide to confirm the reservation, the filled in form will arrive to our Sales Department. Immediately upon the receipt of the reservation form, ur staff will contact the owner of the chosen accommodation unit to check for the last time whether the accommodation unit status on Internet corresponds with the true state, ie. whether the reservation itself is possible to conclude.

The final calculation will be sent to your email address or via fax upon the approval of the received request. The calculation itself contains all the costs clearly stated, together with the amount you are to pay as a reservation confirmation. The payment will be made according to the payment method and dynamics  published on our pages.

To finally confirm the sent reservation application, it is necessary to make the reservation payment within 48 hours upon the receipt of the final calculation. If the guest does not pay within the given term, the result may be overbooking, which is not the agency's responsibility, but, nevertheless, the agency will offer the guest a replacement accommodation of the same quality.

Immediately upon making the payment the guest is to forward the confirmation to the agency via email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   or fax (++ 385 21 884 888). Having checked the payment, the agency will send the guest all the necessary information about the owner of the reserved unit and its address via email.After recieving confirmation of the reservation (voucher), you are required to print it and have it with you upon arrival. The voucher thus received is also the written proof of the paid accommodation for the summer vacation in Trogir.

Bisevo (full day tour by hydrofoil)
10263.jpgBisevo is a small islet in the SE Adriatic, famous for its Blue Grotto, which is a rare natural phenomenon. The inside of the grotto and the sea in it have an indescribable silvery-blue color. This is due to the sunrays which penetrate through a hole under the surface and are reflected from the bottom of the grotto, thus creating incredibly beautiful light effects. At Komiza, is the Fishing Museum, and visitors can also have a refreshment of good wine and fish specialties.

Split and Solin
A walking tour of Split, boasting a 17-century long history, will cover the city's most important historic sights. The Diocletian's Palace with its cellars, dating from the 3rd century, the Peristyle, the Golden and Silver Gates, the Cathedral and Jupiter's Temple are only part of the city's wealth of historic monuments. We proceed to Solin - an ancient Roman settlement - for a visit to the remains of temples, Roman baths, an amphitheatre, churches and town walls.

Krka waterfalls
Ride by coach to Sibenik for a visit to one of Dalmatia's most valuable religious monuments - the 15th century St. Jacob's Cathedral. Continue through the karts Sibenik hinterland to the famous Krka Waterfalls. Located in the lovely Krka National Park, the falls cascade over 17 natural barriers.
This permanent play of the sun and water creates a breathtaking scenery. There will be ample time here for exploring or taking photographs of the scenic countryside.
